Speed enforcement

Hello Resident

Yesterday your Neighbourhood team conducted speed enforcement on two locations in Mellor, Mellor Lane near to Old dads farm and Mellor brow.
we stopped two vehicles for going over 36 mph and tickets for speeding were issued.

Whilst on Mellor brow, we also stopped a youth on an electric scooter, in recent weeks residents have expressed concerns for a youth riding around the area on a scooter weaving in and out of cars and riding on pavements, whilst I'm not 100% sure it is one of the same, he was given a verbal warning and his parents have been spoken to and informed that these scooters are illegal to be ridden on a public road.
